Quality Assurance

Functional perimeter
The Quality Assurance Department secures the stability of the Products in Production via Regression Tests on new software developed in the following areas:
- Fares
- Airline IT
- Central Reservation and Ticketing System
- Travel services & leisure (hotel, car, cruise, rail, insurance…)
- Billing
- API /ComCore/Web Services
- E-Travel and TOPS products are also protected from changes in the above areas.
Technical perimeter
The following technologies and tools are involved:
• Operating Systems: Window XP, Unix, Linux, TPF
• Database: Oracle, SQL server, mysql....
• Protocols : Edifact, XML
• Languages: Python, Java, PHP
• Specialized software: Quality Center and several in house shooting tools
• Microsoft applications: Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint..
• IBM Lotus Notes mail and documents database system
• Access to Amadeus Internal Information Systems (LAN + VPN over Internet + Citrix)
• Amadeus Win@proach for access to WO, CR and PTR databases
• Amadeus System TN3270 terminal access (CODP,CODB, VM)
• Various Amadeus applications and tools under Windows and UNIX
Quality Assurance Engineer skills (for IDS/QAS)
• Languages: fluent English (written and spoken)
• Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent IT
• Experience (wished): Travel Industry IT expertise [Airline and/or Travel Agency and/or other Travel Provider(s)
• Personal skills: multicultural approach, accountability, pro-activity & autonomy, Change Management & Flexibility, analytical skills (both technical and functional), Communication / negotiation, customer focus & service-oriented attitude, ability to handle pressure and changing priorities, relationship & team-working skills, Curiosity & Pugnacity,
• Technical skills: development skills with good test methodology, basic skills in systems, network and database administration would be appreciated
