Summary of Responsibilities:
Analyse user needs and design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
· Be pro-active in investigating the issue and determining the change that could have led to the issue.
· Communicate with other teams of the Amadeus organisation and request them support and
investigations..
· Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with
the Amadeus guidelines.
· Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary
to finalize the product.
· Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting
departments.
· Support the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to
Problem and Change Requests issued from Product Management or Product Definition.
· Be able to take decision such as to request the fall-back of the change that caused the issue.
· Follow-up the issue until its recovery.
EDUCATION
Engineering degree
TECHNICAL SKILLS
a good technical background as some problems will require conducting a minimum research using technical
entries on two platforms (Java / C++, Unix / Linux / Oracle)
QT / Mercury
