Junior Infrastructure/Database Specialist
la Qualitance QBS in BUCURESTI
Description:
The successful candidate that will be enrolled in Qualitance as Database Consultant shall work integrated with customer's team and is responsible for the maintenance of customer databases. Additional role requirements are include troubleshooting, development and planning.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage Oracle10g database on Windows 2003 servers
- Perform inâ€depth analysis of application/database behavior and troubleshoot database performance
- Analyze data flows through system infrastructure
- Develop shell/msâ€dos scripts for several alarms/miscellaneous
- Ensure installation of new deliveries of web applications
- Provide problem and change management solutions
- Provide support for users of the application
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of:
- Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 / SQL
- Dosâ€Batchâ€programming (Scripting)
- Basic knowledge of
- Win 2003 Server
- Bea Weblogic/Apache/IIS
- Linux
- Firewall, reverse Proxy
- Advanced English skills
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
- Use software configuration management (SCM) tools
Will be considered a plus:
- Any knowledge of UNIX operating systems, other than Linux
